The Exhibit
The exhibit comprises 40 images ranging in size from a foot square to two feet by three feet and is presented in two groupings:
Part One: an adjunct to the book “Kalamazoo Gals: A Story of Extraordinary Women and the “Banner” Gibson Guitars They Built during WWII” (American History Press 2012).
Part two: We’re Looking through You, What Did We Know?” (With apologies to Messrs. Lennon and McCartney) X-ray Imagery of American Steel String Guitars, 1830-1930.
